Competition Rules: List to Win

  1. Competition Objective:
    Post the most car parts on car-parts.co.za during the competition period to win cash prizes.

  2. Eligibility:

    • Open to all individuals aged 18 years or older residing in South Africa.
    • Participants must register an account on car-parts.co.za.
    • Employees of car-parts.co.za and their immediate families are not eligible to participate.

  3. Competition Start and End:

    • The competition begins on 15 January 2025 and will run until car-parts.co.za reaches a minimum of 2,000 listed parts.
    • Once the 2,000 parts threshold is met, the competition will continue for an additional 14 days, after which the winners will be announced.

  4. How to Participate:

    • List car parts in any category (New, Used, Trade/Swop, Wanted) on car-parts.co.za.
    • Each part must include a title, description, price (if applicable), and a clear, original photo.
    • Duplicate, fake, or spam listings will be disqualified.

  5. Prizes:

    • First Prize: R2,000
    • Second Prize: R500
    • Third Prize: R250
    • Prizes will be distributed within 7 business days after verification of listings.

  6. Winner Selection:

    • The participants with the most valid and unique parts listed during the competition period will win, with the top three receiving prizes based on ranking.
    • In the event of a tie, winners will be determined based on the earliest submission date of their final listings.

  7. Announcement of Winners:

    • Winners will be announced on car-parts.co.za, and they will be contacted via email or phone.

Terms and Conditions

  1. General Conditions:

    • By participating in the competition, you agree to abide by these rules and the terms and conditions of car-parts.co.za.
    • Listings must comply with car-parts.co.za's content and posting guidelines.

  2. Verification:

    • All listings are subject to verification. Listings that are flagged as duplicates, fraudulent, or violating site policies will not be counted.
    • Participants may be required to provide proof of ownership of listed parts.

  3. Disqualification:

    • Any attempt to manipulate or exploit the competition (e.g., creating fake accounts or posting irrelevant parts) will result in immediate disqualification.
    • car-parts.co.za reserves the right to disqualify participants at its sole discretion.

  4. Amendments and Cancellation:

    • car-parts.co.za reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition at any time without prior notice if unforeseen circumstances occur.

  5. Liability:

    • car-parts.co.za will not be held responsible for any technical issues, interruptions, or errors that may affect participation.
    • By entering, participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless car-parts.co.za from any claims related to the competition.

  6. Privacy:

    • Personal information collected during the competition will be used solely for administration and prize distribution.

  7. Jurisdiction:

    • The competition and these terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
